PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser suitable for an optical pickup. SOLUTION: A infrared semiconductor laser element 3a and a red semiconductor laser element 3b are built in one package 2 in a state that the elements 3a and 3b respectively come into contact with a member 7 having good heat dissipation, the resonator length L1 of the element 3a is set on the condition of 200 μm<=L1<=350 μm and the resonator length L2 of the element 3b is set on the condition of 350 μm<L2<=800 μm. |
