PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally and chemically stable electrolytic solution for the drive of an electrolytic capacitor with a high specific electric conductivity. SOLUTION: For this electrolytic solution for the drive of this electrolytic capacitor, N,N-dimethyl acetamide is turned to a main solvent, and preferably, the N,N-dimethyl acetamide is turned to the main solvent and borodisalicylic acid or the salt is turned to a main solute. More preferably, the N,N-dimethyl acetamide is turned to the main solvent and the ammonium salt or amine salt of the borodisalicylic acid is turned to the main solute. Further preferably, the N,N-dimethyl acetamide is turned to the main solvent and the trimethylamine salt of the borodisalicylic acid is turned to the main solute.
