NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CORRESPONDING TO PLURAL MANAGEMENT PROTOCOLS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a network management system corresponding to plural management protocols and capable of realizing the management of the whole network by using plural kinds of management protocols, defining a device required to use a new management protocol and a new model as a management object and flexibly adding the management object without exerting influence upon an existing system. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a CORBA gateway part 14 depending upon a management protocol used by a system or a device to be a management object and a topology server part 13 not depending upon the management protocol, the gateway part 14 is provided with a management model depending upon the managemnet object definition of the system or device to be the management object and the server part 13 is provided with a non- dependent management model. The server part 13 properly uses the gateway part 14 by the name or attribute name of the management object.
