PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage fuse having a shock resistant fuse element for preventing breakage due to shock or vibration by spirally extending a fuse wire of a metallic slender wire on a lead wire wound around both ends of a porcelain made support bar, soldering-connecting its ends with the lead wire, covering a lozenge tube on this connection portion, heating and shrinking this, and fixing this portion with a seal. SOLUTION: A copper made lead wire 4 wound around both ends of a support bar 1 comprising made off a ceramic insulating material is used as a terminal, a fuse wire 2 comprising an alloy of silver and copper corresponding to a given rating current value is spirally extended on this terminal, its both ends are connected by soldering, the soldering-connection portions of the fuse wire 2 on the terminal are covered with lozenge tubes 5 made of polyester resin from outside of the lead wire 4, this is heated and shrunk, thereby a fuse element assembly whose this portion is fixed is arranged in an insulation cylinder 20 with an arc-extinguishing material 6, and its both ends are inter- fitted with bases 10.
