PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a specified air volume while suppressing noise by providing a guide plate for guiding the air supplied from an impeller in the circumferential direction thereof to a heat exchanging means in a space defined by the impeller and the heat exchanging means. SOLUTION: A heat exchanging means, i.e., a heat exchanging section 12, is disposed to surround an impeller 2 from the circumferential direction. The heat exchanging section 12 is provided with a piping 16 for conducting refrigerant and a plurality of fins 14. A guide plate d extends from the vicinity of the outlet of shroud of the impeller 2 to the uppermost part of the heat exchanging section 12. Fixing angle of the guide plate d on the shroud 4 side is matched with the angle of supply air in the vicinity of the shroud 4 when the impeller 2 is rotary driven at a rated r.p.m. and the guide plates are arranged continuously toward the heat exchanging section 12 so that the supply air is not separated from the guide plate. Supply air from the impeller flows along the guide plates to the heat exchanging section and since it is not subjected to shearing force, a free shearing layer is not formed and generation of turbulence noise is suppressed. |
