PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a radiation exposure dose simply, surely by displaying the radiation exposure dose of an object to be irradiated by a color change with using a compound including an organic compound showing an electron acceptability by radioactive rays and an electron donor organic compound of a coloring efficiency. SOLUTION: The indicator is placed near an object to be irradiated in a radiation irradiation process. The indicator changes color when a predetermined exposure dose irradiates it. Why the indicator changes color by radioactive rays is estimated to be based on the following mechanism. Specifically, when radioactive rays irradiate the indicator, charges move between an organic compound having an electron acceptability and an electron donor organic compound. The electron donor organic compound generates color because of a change in electron density, whereby the indicator changes color. Since the indicator changes color depending on an exposure dose of radioactive rays, a different hue is displayed in accordance with an irradiation history of radioactive rays. A predetermined hue displayed by the indicator indicates that a desired exposure dose irradiates the object. |
