PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency reporting system by a portable telephone set capable of reporting an emergency even in a case that the portable telephone set is outside a portable telephone set usable area and in a case that it is in a communication difficult state. SOLUTION: For this system, a button 3 for emergency report is equipped in this portable telephone set, an emergency report monitoring device 4 for receiving the emergency report from the portable telephone set and communicating with a required part is equipped on the base station side and a reception dedicated antenna 5 for the emergency report used for the emergency report in an area incapable of using the portable telephone set is equipped.
