<p>The present invention provides a method for generating and isolating cell lines that functionally express molecular targets for drug discovery without utilizing information from the nucleic acid or amino acid sequence of the target protein. This procedure for the first time allows one to develop fast, high throughput screens for evaluation of test compounds that may modulate molecular targets whose specific nucleic acid or amino acid sequences are available.</p> |
