TRIAZOLINONE DERIVATIVES AND HERBICIDE COMPOSITIONS

Triazolinone derivatives represented by general formula (I) (wherein R1 is lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, lower alkynyl or lower cycloalkyl; R2 is lower alkyl, lower cycloalkyl or substituted phenyl; and R3 is lower cycloalkyl, lower alkenyl, C1-C8 alkyl, a five- or six-membered heterocyclic group or the like). The 2-substituted-4-(N,N-disubstituted carbamoyl)-1,2,4-triazol-3-one derivatives of general formula (I) exert excellent herbicidal effects on various weeds, while they do little or no chemical damage to useful crop plants.
