The circuit has an auxiliary charging arrangement (1) contg. an electric motor and compressor supplied from a vehicle accumulator and the light sources (4a-4n) and auxiliary charging arrangement are connected in parallel. A resistance (5) connected in series with the parallel connected light sources is selected so that the total current flowing through the light sources causes a voltage drop across the resistance as for when the motor is connected. The resistance is connected in parallel with a first switch (7) that short-circuits it if the motor in the auxiliary charger is activated by a second switch (6).
