Friction brake with screw bolt for tensioning, and clamping strap, hinge sleeve and axle pin for window casements or door leaves

The friction brake (3,4) has its frictional connection adjustable by means of a tensioning screw bolt (4) gripping one end (5) of a clamping strap (3). The other end (6) is anchored in the hinge-sleeve (2) by means of the screw bolt. The friction brake has the clamping strap gripping round an axle pin (1) and positioned between the axle pin and the hinge sleeve. The clamp strap has a round section (7) gripping round the axle pin by more than 180 degrees, and has, on both sides of the round section, two straight sections (5,6). The screw bolt has a round head (8) with tool-application element (9) and external thread (10).
