The massage roller comprises a massage body (1) with an extension which surrounds the hand grip (2) on a shoulder (4), rotationally symmetrical to an axis (3) in the form of a collar (5). The collar is made form an elastic material and has a sealing lip. The hand grip is made from foam, and the massage body is made from two sections fixed together. Massage elements (8,9) are made from a firm material.
