ANTI-SNAG DUPLEX CONNECTOR

Two simplex connectors (10) are joined by a duplex clip (210). Each connector has a rectangular housing (13) with a plug (12) for insertion into a mating receptacle and an entrance for a cable (30) at its opposite ends. The clip is a planar structure with perpendicularly extending pins for engaging holes in bottom left and/or right side surfaces of the housing. A top surface of the housing has a latch (130) for securing it to the receptacle. A cantilever member (120) points away from the plug end and forms an acute angle with the top surface; it slidably engages the latch to release it.
