Process for manufacturing a polyolefin coating, substrate coated with that coating, and its use for contact with moving powders

A polyolefin coating is produced on a substrate by (a) contacting the substrate with a liq. compsn. contg. a catalyst for olefin polymerisation, (b) sepg. the substrate and the compsn., and (c) polymerising an olefin in the gas phase in presence of the substrate. Also claimed are: (i) a component comprising a substrate and a coating obtd. by the above process; and (ii) the use of a component comprising a substrate and a polymeric coating to come into contact with polyolefin particles, novel in that the polymer constituting the coating contains units of formula -CH2-CHR- in which R = H or 1-10C alkyl.
