Electronic circuit with reverse battery protection

The electronic circuit has a MOS FET (T1) with its source-drain path connected in series between the supply voltage source and the input of the electronic circuit (1). The gate is controlled for blocking the current path when the voltage supply polarity is incorrect. The gate of the FET is controlled via a gate voltage generator (2), with a capacitor (C1) on the output side of the FET. The supply voltage for the electronic circuit is smoothed.
