The fastener consists of a piece 1 which in one end has a passage 2 into which the adjustable strap 3 of the suspender belt is coupled, whilst, at the opposite end, there is a large longitudinal opening 6 with a constriction in which the rod of a stud 5 belonging to an elastic strip 4 is held in order to secure the fabric of, for example, a woman's stocking. The novel aspect of the fastener consists in the fact that the larger, free side of the passage 2 which constitutes a type of rectangular ring has an oblique opening 9 which makes it possible, with complete ease, to connect the adjustable strap 3 even after having regulated or adjusted said strap. <IMAGE>
