An electronic timing device is inserted inside one or more of the following: <SL> <LI>A) An electrical wall plug socket, <LI>B) An electrical wall light switch, <LI>C) An electrical wall plug, <LI>D) An electrical ceiling rose, <LI>E) An electrical wall plug adaptor, <LI>F) An electrical appliance. </SL> whereby these components can be controlled by means of a remote controller. The timing device incorporates a computer chip which can perform numerous operations in dependance upon the timer. This chip can be replaced like a fuse. The remote controller may be optical or radio based and can perform functions such as on/off, override, and program 'date and time' information. |
