Electronic frequency-drift compensation device applicable to quartz clocks, which essentially comprises a pulse modifier MI and a logic unit UL which are interposed between the quartz pulse generator G and the clock R, the pulse modifier acting on the pulse train TI originating from the generator G in response to the data stored in a control register R2 which adds or subtracts pulses and stores the information on the number of pulses to be modified, the said register R2 being updated by a logic unit UL via a control signal T5 which the pulse modifier sends every time the clock is set to time. Optionally, the logic unit incorporates a temperature sensor ST for the necessary compensation as a function of temperature. <IMAGE>
