Preparation with antinicotinic action, which contains a carrier polymer which is biologically reabsorbed and which contains a group of metabolic cations modified by one of the following alkaloids: Anabasine hydrochloride; Cytisine; Lobeline or any other with antinicotinic action. The carrier polymer can be monocarboxymethyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, phosphate cellulose, polymethacrylic acid, polyvinylsulphate, albumin oxide or dicarboxyldextran. Can be used for giving up smoking, eliminating the smoker's addiction and dependence, as it is based on the competitive antagonism of said alkaloids at the level of the nicotine receptors.
