PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage pit for hydrant to improve the convenience. SOLUTION: In a storage pit for hydrant to cover a hydrant which is arranged outdoors, a cylindrical body 11 surrounding a hydrant 1 is erected perpendicular to an inclined ground, and most of a side wall 11B on the side opposite thereto is embedded in the ground. A lid body 13 to cover an upper end opening of the cylindrical body 11 is provided, and a through hole 12 in a side wall 11A is provided in the side wall 11A on one side of the cylindrical body 11 in an exposed manner. A hose 9 is connected to the hydrant 1 from the through hole l2 exposed to the ground, and water for agricultural use is supplied through the hose 9, and thus, a work to open/close a heavy lid for each water supply can be dispensed with.
