The container (10) shall be used for the storage and display of objects. It consists of two basic components, the first one (12) having a transparent zone (18) fitted in such a way that the object can be seen through it when the container is closed. The two basic components are pivotly connected by a hinge (16), the first one being mobile in respect to the second between its closed position where peripheral edges (20, 22) are locked with a facility for release, and open position where the basic components are at least partially separated from each other.
