ARTIFICIAL MARBLE OR ARTIFICIAL MARBLE SHEET AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an artificial marble of superior flexibility capable of coping with the post-processing or bending in correspondence with the deformation of a wall or the like and a profile base on a job site, and also provided with cushioning properties on its surface. SOLUTION: An artificial marble or an artificial marble sheet 1 is provided with flexibility and formed of a surface resin layer 2 and a base resin layer 3. The surface resin layer 2 is formed of flexible resin 5 such as acrylic modified vinyl ester resin, and the base resin layer 3 is formed of a material of flexible resin 5 such as acrylic modified vinyl ester resin into which a filler 6 is added. Thus the artificial marble or the artificial marble sheet 1 of 1.0-20.0 mm thickness is manufactured.
