PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an optical disk substrate excellent in double refraction and transfer by setting a switching period of time of the compression of the clamping force under the molding conditions within a predetermined range after the injection is completed. SOLUTION: A resin charged into mold bodies 3 4 is compressed with a predetermined clamping force by the movable mold body 4 through a movable platen 2 and the fixed mold body 3 mounted on the fixed platen 1 by means of a movable compression cylinder 5, and a pattern shape such as pits, grooves or the like formed on the surface of a stamper 7 disposed at the fixed side is transferred, thereby forming an optical disk substrate 15. The clamping force of the mold is switched from the clamping force at the time of injection to the clamping force at the time of compression within 0.02-0.06 sec from the time when the injection charging to the mold is completed. This realizes the required transfer in high density stably without losing the optical characteristics in manufacturing the optical disk substrate. |
