PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating waste gas cans capable of reliably treating any types of waste gas cans loaded. SOLUTION: A pair of rotation rollers 1, 2 are installed in the main body of a treatment chamber 4 formed in the inside of a treatment apparatus in a manner that the rollers can rotate on a horizontal axis and waste gas cans are thrown between the respective rotation rollers 1, 2 to discharge remaining liquefied petroleum gas out of the waste gas cans. In such a method of treating waste gas cans, a load chamber 5 for throwing waste gas cans into and a discharge chamber 6 for discharging waste gas cans into are formed respectively in an upper part and in a lower part of the treatment chamber 4. Partitioning members 12-15 for shielding the outside and the inside are respectively installed in the inlet parts and outlet parts of the load chamber 5 and the discharge chamber 6 to enable the treatment chamber 4, the load chamber 5, and the discharge chamber 6 to be filled with an inert gas by gas exchange. At the time of starting the treatment, the interior gas of the treatment chamber 4 is exchanged with an inert gas to keep the inside of the treatment chamber 4 at low oxygen concentration out of an explosion range of the liquefied petroleum gas. After the interior gases of the load chamber 5 and the discharge chamber 6 are exchanged with an inert gas, the chambers 5, 6 are communicated with the treatment chamber 4. |
