PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internally threaded fishing rod capable of being stowed away in a short size and capable of easily threading the fishing rod. SOLUTION: In this swinging guide type internally threaded fishing rod, small diameter rod pipes 12, 13 capable of being swung and directly joined to a large diameter rod pipe 10 are formed in a state capable of being received in the large diameter rod pipe 10 up to its rear portion. In the large diameter rod pipe 10, a fishing rod guide for guiding a fishing line unreeled from a reel into the rod pipe is disposed in front of a reel-fixing device for fixing the reel. Therein, guide supporters 12B, 13B, 14B holding guide members 12A, 13A, 14A are disposed on the inner diameter sides at the rear end portions of the small diameter rod pipes 12, 13, and center supports are disposed in front of the guide supporters 12B, 13B, 14B. A groove 12D communicating with the inner space through the inner diameter sides of the guide members 12A, 13A, 14A of the small diameter rod pipes 12, 13 is disposed behind the guide supporters 12B, 13B, 14B. The inner diameters of the guide members 12A, 13A, 14A of the small diameter rod pipes 12, 13 and the tip top rod pipe 14 are formed in the approximately same inner diameter.
