PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document binder enabling facilitation of a binding operation of a binding string and an opening operation and causing little the impairment of a cover sheet and others. SOLUTION: Binding string passing holes 4 corresponding to binding holes opened at an interval in a binding margin of a document are provided in the lengthwise direction of a base plate 5 formed in the shape of a flat plate strip, so that they pierce the surface and the rear of the base plate, and on the surface side of the base plate in the vicinity of each binding string passing hole 4, a string fastening projection 7 around which the fore end side of a binding string is wound to be caught in so that the binding string be fastened thereto detachably is provided integrally.
