PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user easily relievable oneself through a cut part in the stae of sitting on a wheelchair after sitting on it by providing an cut part for easing nature on the seating surface in a wheelchair having a seating surface, a frame for supporting the seating surface and running wheels fitted to the frame. SOLUTION: The wheelchair 2 has a seating surface 4 for sitting, a frame 6 formed by a pipe member for supporting the seating surface and running wheels 8 fitted to the frame 6. The seating surface 4 is formed by a plate-like member suspended on the frame 6, and the frame 6 is formed by bending the pipe member like a U-shape and connecting the member by the seating surface 4. The seating surface 4 is provided with a cut part 10 for easing nature. That is, a narrow slit 12 is formed in the front part of the seating surface 4, and a circular hole 14 is formed in the central area of the seating surface 4 at the forward end of the slit to form the opening part 10. Thus, in the case of relieving oneself after sitting on the wheelchair 2, the wheelchair 2 is moved backward to put the U-shaped opening of the frame 6 in a toilet stool, and the cut part 10 is positioned right above the open part of the toilet stool.
