PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound having good peroral vital utility and highly useful as a selectively reversible thrombin inhibitor. SOLUTION: This new compound is expressed by formula I [R1 is H, a 1-4C alkyl or the like; R2 is H, methyl or the like; R3 is H, a 1-4C alkyl or the like; R4 is H or a 1-4C alkyl; R5 is H or a 1-4C alkyl; R6 is H, F, a 1-4C alkyl or the like; R7 is H, a 1-6C alkyl or the like when B is phenyl or the like; V is C or N; W and X are each CH, CF or the like; B-A is B-C(R8)(R9) (R and R are each H or the like; B is phenyl or the like) or the like] and is e.g. (R,S)-2-[3-[(2-amino-1-benzylethyl)amino]-6-methyl-2-oxo-1(2H)-pyridin yl]- N-(1H-indol-5-ylmethyl)acetamide. The compound of formula I is obtained by combining a compound of formula II with a heterocyclic amine of formula III.
