PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the design and the functionality of a residential building. SOLUTION: A window roof 3 is provided on a residental building 1 so as to continue window topsides of a sweeping out window 21 and a tall-skirted window 22 adjacent to each other. The window roof 3 having a width longer than widths of the windows is provided on the window topsides. The window roof 3 is continuously provided on double wall surfaces adjacent to each other of at least either one of a projected corner part and an inside corner part. Moreover a shutter box for a window is built in the window roof 3.
