PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel capable of preventing the intertwinement of a fishing line due to a spooling habit. SOLUTION: This spinning reel is provided with a spool shaft 2 disposed on a reel body in a state capable of being reciprocated in the longitudinal direction and with a spool portion 4 attached to the spool shaft 2. The spool portion 4 comprises a spool body 12 and a holder 13 for attached to the spool shaft 2 and detachably holding the spool body 12.
