PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate shaking of wheels and make the wheels turn smoothly by forming semicircular ribs on the lower periphery of a bearing in a vacuum cleaner where an axle fitted into a cylindrical bearing projected from the side wall of the vacuum cleaner body incorporating an electric blower. SOLUTION: To mount wheels 3a in a lower case 2, first the axle 30 of the wheels 3a is fitted to a bearing 26, and a stopper 32 is butted against the bearing 26. At this time, an engagement claw 31 formed at the tip of the axle 30 is engaged with the outer periphery of the bearing 26, and the tip of a rib 27 is held near the inwall of the axle 3a. The formation of the semicircular rib 27 helps to improve the mountability of the wheels 3a, and if the wheels 3a turn and cause shaking, the shaking can be suppressed by butting the tip of the rib 27 against the inwall of the wheels 3a. As dust or the like which may enter the inside of the rib 27 can be discharged automatically from a notch 28 by the rotation of the wheels 3a, the wheels 3a can be turned smoothly.
