PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower for carrying cut lawn grasses from a mower to a grass-collecting container through a duct route by the force of wind, supporting the grass-collecting container in a state capable of being separated from the duct route and swung on the side of a dumping discharge port, and releasing a lid for closing the discharge port of the grass-collecting container in interlock with the damping operation of the grass-collecting container, capable of preventing that the grass-collecting container is moved to the dumping side to leak the cut lawn grasses and dusts from the closing site of the discharge port within the duct route, even when a force is improvidently added to the lid in a lid-opening direction. SOLUTION: This lawn mower is provided with a lock metal fitting 41 for locking a lid 34 at a closing position in a state returning a grass-collecting container 6 in a grass-collecting posture. The lock metal fitting 41 is released in interlock with an initial operation, when the grass-collecting container 6 is moved from a grass-collecting posture into a grass-dumping posture, while the lock metal fitting 41 is locked in interlock with a returning operation from the damping posture to the grass-collecting posture.
