PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove bubbles standing at the end part of a reservoir easily by providing the spacer of a channel unit with a reservoir having an end part tapered to have a width substantially equal to the depth of the reservoir. SOLUTION: Spacer of a channel unit forms two rows of pressure generating chambers 4 symmetrically to the center line at the pitch of one chamber, and a reservoir is formed independently on the outside of each row of pressure generating chambers 4. The regions 3a, 3b at respective ends of these reservoirs are tapered to have a width substantially equal to the depth of the reservoir by shifting the walls 3c, 3d facing ink supplies 2-1a, 2-2a, 2-3a and 2-1b, 2-2b, 2-3b, respectively, to the ink supplies 2-1a, 2-2b, 2-3b side from walls 3e, 3f extending from the central part.
