PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor backing panel for which the panel can be easily notched at columns or subdivided on the job site. SOLUTION: In a wooden floor backing panel, slits 2 are provided in parallel to side end at adequate intervals from the side end of panel at all positions considered to be linked to columns except four corners of the floor backing. Then, marking lines 3, 4 are provided at the four corners and central part of the floor panel and, if necessary, a drift pin hole 7 is drilled at the connecting end face between panels and they are jointed with drift pins 6. By doing this, the column portion can be easily notched on the site and the panel can be subdivided so that only one kind of panels can correspond to various job sites.
