PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject copolymer being stable even in the presence of a compound having a free hydrogen atom, and useful as a foam stabilizer, an antifoam agent, etc., by bonding together specific two kinds of units through Si-C bond so as to have a specific structure. SOLUTION: This linear polyether-polsiloxane-copolymer is obtained by having a structure of the formula: A(BC)nBA A is a group of formula I [R1 is H, an alkyl, an aralkyl, an aryl or R2C(O) (R2 is a (non-)substituted 1-8C alkyl); (m) is 3-8; (a), (b), (c) are each 0-200, (a+b+c) is 2-300]; B is the formula: (R32SiO)4R32Si [R3 is a (substituted) (un)saturated 1-20C hydrocarbon group; (d) is 1-400]; C is formula II; (n)>=1 and bonding a linear plyether unit with a linear polysiloxane unit through Si-C bond.
