PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device of simple scheme capable of readily examining the operation of a yarn breakage sensor and related detective circuits, etc., in a short time. SOLUTION: This inspection device has such a scheme that, the tip of a shaft 5 attached to the output shaft 2a of a motor 2 is fitted with a piano wire 6 so as to project by a specified length from the circumferential surface of the shaft 5, and a positioning bracket 4 having positioning planes 4a, 4b and intended to turn the piano wire 6 within the sensing region for a yarn breakage sensor 10 is integrally set up on a plate 3 mounted with the motor 2.
