PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing a corrugated fiberboard band in a trimming process from meandering. SOLUTION: On the upstream side of the pass line of a slitter, a pair of rotary shafts 7, which are normal to the running direction of the pass line and pinch the pass line vertically in parallel, are provided. On the respective rotary shafts 7, holding-down rollers 8 and 9 are mounted so as to match at both of the end edges of a corrugated fiberboard band 1 in order to press and confine both of the end edges to be trimmed of the corrugated fiberboard band 1, resulting in preventing the running corrugated fiberboard band 1 from meandering.
