SOLUTION: This cereal grain selection-controlling device is to calculate a ratio of a secondary reduction flow rate N2 to a measured first grain flow rate N1, (N2/N1)=Mko (called as a measured objective value) (S11). As the set objective value Mk, in a normal working time, a large standard objective value Mk1 is selected, and at the time of making a turn or finishing a reaping, a small objective value Mk2 at a time that both of the first grain flow rate N1 and the secondary reduction flow rate N2 are in a decreasing tendency, is selected (S12). And the opening and closing control of a chaff is performed so as to maintain the ratio of the secondary reduction flow rate N2 to the measured first grain flow rate N1, (N2/N1)=Mko at each of the objective values (S13-S16).
