<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of remaining materials and the length of crops as small as possible when material design is executed at the time of manufacturing steel tubes. SOLUTION: In the case the min. length of a rolling mill is not filled up by the specifications of one order received and the steel tubes of not less than the necessary number must be manufactured, plural specifications of the orders received which are at approximately the same level in an outside diameter, thickness and material, but different in the cut length of the tube and thickness tolerance are combined from one material design within the max. length of the rolling mill. In this way, the restriction of the min. length of the rolling mill is satisfied without manufacturing the steel tubes of not less than the necessary number.</p> |
