<p>PURPOSE:To impart good flowability and excellent denseness, adhesivity and durability to concrete by compounding a water-curable substance with a cement additive consisting mainly of a specific dispersing agent and a synthetic resin emulsion and/or a synthetic rubber latex. CONSTITUTION:The cement additive consists mainly of a dispersion agent containing a naphthalene sulfonic acid-formaldehyde condensed product as a main component and of a synthetic resin emulsion and/or a synthetic rubber latex using a surfactant as an emulsion stabilizer. The dispersing agent is usually employed in an amount of approximately 0.15-5 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the water-curable substance. The synthetic resin emulsion and/or synthetic rubber latex are usually used in amounts of 4-150 pts.wt. as the solid contents per 100 pts.wt. of the water-curable substance. Any of anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants can be employed as the surfactant in the emulsion stabilizer.</p> |
