Hydrogel wound dressing comprising a polyurethane prepolymer and polypropylene/propylene glycols and the method of making and using the same

A hydrogel wound dressing comprising from 5 to 20 percent by weight of a polyurethane prepolymer, from 3 to 45 percent by weight of polypropylene and propylene glycols and the balance water. Said dressing being utilizable without backing material. Also claimed is a method for producing the highly absorptive, flexible wound dressing.
