PURPOSE:To obtain bred fishes promoted in production of glutathione peroxidase, raised in humoral immunity and immunostimulated by breeding fishes with a feed for fish breeding containing selenium. CONSTITUTION:Fishes are bred using a selenium-containing feed for fish breeding obtained by adding selenium to a feed for fish breeding. Thereby, production of gluthione is promoted in the bred fishes and the glutathione peroxidase is activated in vivo and active oxygen is detoxified. The concentration of selenium in the feed is preferably 0.1-1.0ppm. |
