<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical paper conveying mechanism of simple constitution which, when conveying paper vertically, can prevent rubbing of the unfixed surface of the paper at the release of the paper from an image forming part by restraining the movement of the paper while it is being conveyed, without having a suction or attraction means or installing any special paper conveying part that is entirely covered. SOLUTION: In the vertical paper conveying mechanism of an image forming device in which the feed of paper on a paper feed path between a vertical image forming part and fixing part is performed by the feed of the paper at the image forming part and by the sandwiching and conveying of the paper at the fixing part, with a paper guide 13 placed to prevent the paper from abutting against a pressure roller 15, the tangent of the paper advance side end of fixing roller 11 at a fixing nip part has a relation such that it passes through a transfer member at the transfer part of the image forming part.</p> |
