PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leaking of a developer when a process cartridge having a photoconductor drum and a developing unit (mainly two-component developing unit) integrated together is conveyed with the developer sealed therein. SOLUTION: An elastic member 2 made of a material such as polyurethane foam or soft rubber is bonded to a part of the outer peripheral surface of a drum protection sheet 1A wound on a photoconductor drum 12, the edge of the elastic member abutting against the position of a developing sleeve 41 opposite to a developing blade 44. This constitution prevents a developer stored in a developer container from leaking out because of vibration, the impact of drop, and the like during physical distribution in a process cartridge, and allows an operator to remove a developer leakage prevention member by a simple job of removing the drum protection sheet 1A, enabling the process cartridge to be quickly mounted in an image forming device. |
