PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore precisely the digital data even when their density is enhanced by forming specified relations between the information data (x) and (n) pieces of data placed on intersected points between (n) pieces of adjacent tracks among plural tracks arranged at a prescribed interval on a recording surface of an optical recording medium and straight lines linking between tracks in the shortest. SOLUTION: Recording operation is performed to the digital information data of (m)-value (m is integer of 2 or above) to be recorded on the optical recording medium, and reproducing operation is performed to the read out recorded data.
