PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the communication device with a redundant system changeover function where optimum reception sensitivity is obtained at a low cost. SOLUTION: An SOH termination section 451 of a 0-th system inserts wavelength data informed from an SOH termination section 452 of a 1st system to an overhead part mainly assigned for communication management information in the case of converting notice data 481 received as data to be transmitted into an SDH frame format and the result is sent to a terminal station of an opposite party. An SOH termination section of a terminal station of the opposite party receiving it extracts the wavelength data from data with the SDH frame format and informs a transmitter side OS transmitting the wavelength data substantially and a preamplifier at a receiver side connected via a transmission line of it. |
