PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard which can keep its clean state with no deterioration of the key operation feeling, does not easily become an obstacle when it is not used and also can arouse a purchaser's attention when it is sold at shop front. SOLUTION: A transmitting part 16 and a battery storing part 17 are attached to a main body part 15 of a wireless keyboard 11. When the keyboard 11 is not used, the part 15 is kept in upright state on a mounting surface with both parts 16 and 17 used as the foot parts. In such a constitution, the dust are not easily attached on an operating surface 13 without covering the keyboard 11 with a cover just by setting the part 15 in its upright state. Thus, the plane area occupied by the keyboard 11 is much reduced and the keyboard trade name can be shown on a back face 14.
