PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve gas venting at the time of valve operation by fixing the separator of the outer terminal side of a capacitor element without bending. SOLUTION: Winding cores 2 as capacitor elements and a sealing member 3, provided with electrode leads 6, 7 for connecting a lead 2a from the winding cores, are inserted into a case 1 having explosion proof valves 4, then the sealing member 3 is fixed for the completion of this, electrolytic capacitor. In this capacitor, a supporting part 3a supporting the annular edge part of the winding cores 2 is formed on the sealing member 3.
