PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a contact area with a mounting seat, and to simplify temporary holding and positioning to the mounting seat. SOLUTION: This connect terminal 12 fixed to a mounting seat 13a provided to a chassis of a facsimile device by a screw 14 comprises a cap-like terminal body 12a detachably fitted around the mounting seat 13a and a ground connecting part 12b which extends sideways from the terminal body 12a. The terminal body 12a is composed of a top board part 20 abutted against the upper surface of the mounting seat 13a, and plural side plate parts 21 bent at right angles from the periphery of the top board part 20 to contact with the sides of the mounting seat 13a. The respective side plate parts 21 are deformed elastically and slightly inclined inward. Here, an interval h between the tips of the facing side plate parts 21 is set slightly narrower than the width H of the mounting seat 13a.
