PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the limit of a write frequency from being restrained by the length of a lead wire by providing an IC circuit, which supplies a write current to a magnetic head, on a suspension member for supporting the magnetic head. SOLUTION: An IC element 110 is mounted on a suspension 103 while a magnetic head 12 is mounted at the tip end of a suspension 103 that supports the head and an arm 101. The parallel wiring line 107 connected to this IC 110 is constituted of parallel write data lines and plural reproducing data lines. In addition, the IC 110 is connected to a control signal line 108 other than these data lines and that a wiring 109 is connected on the magnetic head 12 side of the IC 110. By positioning this IC circuit near the magnetic head 12, a distance can be shortened from the terminal to the magnetic head, and the loss problem concerning rise in frequency can be reduced.
